The Five Reason Why Men Flirt

 I was going through random hubs on my lunch hour as I do sometimes, when I noticed that there are many hubs about why men flirt.  The strange part of this is that all of them are written by women.  This is why men flirt from a man's perspective.  Please remember that I am talking about flirting not leering or attempting to pick up or hook up with anyone.  I am also not talking about extreme cases.

1.  We like the attention.  It is nice to see someone enjoying your company.  Most women enjoy a smile and a complement from a man, providing it is not overtly sexual.  In fact, most women are more than happy to smile and thank you for the complement.  Several of those same women will give you a nice complement back.  This is not going to lead to mad passionate sex on the store counter, but it will improve someone's day

2. It smooths out transactions.  I know this one sounds wierd, but people want to do things for nice people.  A little flirting might get your order in a little faster or help someone remember something that they saw in the back that is in your size.  Sounds silly, but it works.

3. Anyone can be great at it.  All of us are not born attractive, intelligent, and a super athlete, but anyone can flirt.  It's all about the personality baby!  It's where those of us that are short and frumpy can kick that jock's ass!

4.  It is a victimless crime.   In most cases.  Let me be clear about this.  In most cases, a flirt is not an attempt at sex or a relationship.  I know someone is going to comment about a loser ex boyfriend that flirted with everyone and eventually left her for her dog's playmates owner.  That is a rare occurrance.  Please don't think that all of us are loser's.

5.  It's fun.  Flirting is free and entertaining.  It is a thirty second destraction in an eight hour shift.  It is a side street on the shopping highway.  Honestly, most people don't give it a second thought, but it improves their outlook on the day.
